BMW German Masters Munich June 23-25 2015

As ever this event is run with the renowned efficiency attributed to Germans and is splendidly presented with excellent crowds each day which makes all the difference as European attendances can be sparse at times …
This was one of those, all too rare, tournaments where I bumped into person after person and had either a real spiritual chat or a really long conversation which one day may lead to a spiritual chat …

I had good contact with Jake and JBe and a planning discussion with Hennie on the upcoming Scottish Open Roadshow, also three great little spiritual outreach talks with a caddy, who is on his first, as it were, full time employed bag, also one of the coaches and then I was approached by our old friend the caddy……

The caddy (on the full  time bag) is finding his feet and is within the scope of me and his player, so this is and will continue to be an interesting journey … I had spoken to the coach, before in general and this was an opportunity that arose and we spoke of how he had gone to church weekly when he was young and his dad still does, so it was good to go a little further this time and dwell on eternal things  … our old friend (the caddy) asked a great question, “What’s the point of this life!?”  When you ask this it means you are beginning to see a little more clearly that there is more than just the daily routine of this life, so we had a long long talk about that, and dwelt on eternity and all that means, great stuff!

I also had at least three other long conversations which went on to a more personal level than before so thank you for your prayers as there is no question that God opens doors when we commune with Him …

The season is at it peak over these weeks with one big event after another and next week is the France Open at the Ryder Cup 2018 venue … If you’ve been receiving my updates over the last six years you’ll be aware of my dealings in France and that I’m waiting to see what will go wrong this time, it never disappoints ….

Matthew 7:7-8
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”
