BMW PGA Championship Wentworth May 20-2, 2015

Logos on tour at BMW Championship

As ever Wentworth was abuzz with, it seemed, everyone from the business world of golf in attendance, I don’t know how many meetings/business lunches and dinners there were, but methinks, a lot!

We were looking to finalise a couple of meetings ourselves for Logos next week at the Irish Open in Newcastle …. I’ve always felt that at the British based events we should be looking to have some sort of public meeting (I’ve taken to calling them Roadshows) at most of the venues and we have two next week;

Tuesday 26th at Rockmount GC, where both Hennie Otto and Jake Roos will attend and on

Wednesday night 27th in Newcastle when Hennie again (he loves these types of things) along with Malcolm Gregson who is a old pro that some of you more senior folks will recall from the sixties and seventies who won the order of merit in 1967 and played in the Ryder Cup that year … Malcolm got saved late in life (in his 50s) and in the last few years has done several Logos meetings telling his story … So do please remember both of these in your prayers …

I always say that the really big tournaments don’t realise much by way of opportunities for Logos but on Thursday morning as I walked over to the course in the early hours, and a gentleman whom I’d been introduced to the previous day who runs the British Par 3 tournament was in my hotel and our 15 minute walk/chat ended with a discussion on the state of the world with its countless wars and killings and his perception that there was a God for everyone, as “it” suited them and how they seen “that” – as he described God …

I left him with John 14:6 and “that” Jesus is the Prince of Peace …. And at the end of all things “it” will be God who is answered to and not He to us …

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”  Philippians 2:10-11

Next Week; a local event for me, the Irish Open at a Royal Co. Down Newcastle
